Reflections in the Sand is a marimba solo inspired by the music of Keiko Abe, Dave Samuels, and Alice Gomez.  It is definitely a “groove piece” with roots in the Latin American style of music and features poly rhythms as well as a lyrical middle section.  Grade 3-4
